Winifred Reading in Kauai

Tonight is the official (pre) launch of Winifred! I will be reading, doing a q & a and signing books at the Kapaa Public Library at 1464 Kuhio Highway on the Island of Kauai. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. HST and will feature coffee and pineapple cake. If you're on the Island of Kauai or are so inclined to be there, come join me tonight.

Winifred Is Doing Well

Thanks for all your support! Due to it's sales, 'Winifred' is now listed on top on Amazon and Barnes & Noble when you type in the title or the name 'Souby.'

My preference is that purchases be made at AuthorHouse.com due to a better royalties. However, I understand that buyers have their favorite online dealers, and I certainly support any retailer who carries the novel.

Winifred Now Available

I am proud to announce that Winifred is now available in hardcover, paperback and kindle (etc.) download. The release date was November 30, 2010 but I've been waiting for a picture of the cover to appear on Amazon before I make announcement. I have decided to quit waiting and let everyone. I thank you all for your support during this process. Also, as I mentioned before, a new podcast will be released on December 29.

Winifred to be in print by December 7, 2010

It's official, Winifred will be in available in hard cover and paperback by December 7. There may be some delay in getting it up on Amazon, but I'm confident it will be listed there soon afterwards. I thank you all for your support and patience. I will begin uploading a new version of the podcast this week!

Winifred Update

The format has been officially reviewed and submitted to AuthorHouse for publication. The cover design is set. My newest best guess is that the book will be available by December 15! As soon as I know for certain I will launch a new version of the podcast here on my website and on Podiobooks.

By the way, the iTunes podcast now has 1046 downloads. I thank you all for your patience and support!

I hope you enjoy the official front cover of Winifred. I am scheduled to see the final galley this week and if it needs no more edits, the novel should be available by the second week of December making it an excellent late stocking stuffer!

When is Winifred coming out?

Hi Everybody -
The most common question I'm getting from friends, family and podcast followers is, "when is Winifred going to be available in hardcopy?"

For the past three weeks I've been responding, "three weeks." Unfortunately matters regarding the cover art have still not been resolved. I am told that this week I will be given the choice between two different design ideas, one I submitted and one that my publisher has suggested. Also, there have been a few final editing details to iron out. I was back in Chicago this past weekend and took the time to double check the accuracy of various geographic locations that are described in the novel. I have also been trying to flush out a few typos that were missed in previous drafts.

So, the answer remains, three weeks! I feel pretty comfortable about this timeline now. When I launch the book in hardcopy (and electronic media) I will also release a revamped podcast of the final draft to be available in a weekly serial on Podiobooks, iTunes, and this website. I thank everybody for your support!
